Whoever is caught doing graffiti in the historic stockade should be severly punished. Stockade is a historic part of Schenectady, and is safest part of Schenectady with houses dating back between 200 to 300 years. If graffiti is sprayed onto them, the graffii could ruin its historic character. This historic neighborhood draws alot of people every year. When graffiti is sprayed on its historic huildings, the Stockade could end up becoming unattractive that could keep people away.
I don’t want to see this historic Stockade neighborhood end up like another Hamilton Hill, where crime mostly occurs, such as shootings, or drug dealings.
To prevent this historic neighborhood from becoming a haven for graffiti artists or drug dealers, security cameras should be installed throughtout that historic cameras that would link the Schenectady Police department, and the police should patrol its streets

The houses in this neighborhood date back between 200 to 300 years. It draws alot of people every year e.g., the stockade Walkabout, and art show. If graffiti is sprayed on its historic buildings, it will make that neighborhood unattractive for its residents and people who visit it. To combat graffiti in the stockade, the neighborhood should impose a curfew for teenagers, security cameras installed throughout this historic neighborhood, and Schenectady police officers to patrol its streets
The Mohawk River is the northern boundary of the Stockade Historic District, in Schenectady, NY. In photos taken from his block near Cucumber Alley and on short strolls around the neighborhood, David Giacalone presents views of and from the Mohawk, Riverside Park, and the Stockade -- with sunsets, special events, seasonal sights, and surprises.
